Mission: To share with our Clubs and key stakeholders how to be apart of the Los Angeles County Alliance for Boys and Girls Clubs movement to encourage STEM/STEAM education by establishing new curriculum, working closely to support girls and minority students, and setting new standards of achievement.
JR Dzubak, the Alliance Steering Committee Chair says, “There is lots of interest in figuring out how to establish rigorous STEM curricular pathways that start when students are in middle to high school. We have found that the adoption of various programs provide changes that are actually happening a bit faster than we anticipated with positive results in our Clubs.”
We look forward to partnering with the community at large to further the mission of STEM education.
